【異文化コミュニケーションⅡ】2025年度インターナショナル・バーチャル・エクスチェンジ・プロジェクトでは1名が優秀賞を授与されました

2025年度「インターナショナル・バーチャル・エクスチェンジ・プロジェクト」において、経営実務科 2年次 古川 桃江さん（石川県 星稜高等学校出身）が優秀賞を受賞しました。日本から本プロジェクトに参加した学生の中で、特に優秀な成績をおさめました。

このような賞をいただけてとても光栄に思います。私は交流相手のことを深く知れたらいいなと思いながら、とても気軽な気持ちでやり取りをしていました。活動中は自分の興味がある投稿に対して返信し、その投稿主も自分の返信に答えるといったやり取りを楽しんでいました。時差や相手のペースという障壁もある中で、返信をもらえた時はいつも嬉しく感じていました。その為、いつの間にかIVEプロジェクトを開くことが習慣化されていました。IVEプロジェクトは異国の相手と楽しく交流できるので、気になる方はぜひ取り組んでいただきたいです。
I am very honored to receive this award. I had been communicating with my exchange partners in a very casual manner, hoping to get to know them in depth. During the activities, I enjoyed replying to posts that interested me, and the students who posted would respond to my replies. Despite the time difference and the other person's pace, I was always happy when I received a reply. So, before I knew it, opening the IVE Project had become a habit.
The IVE project is a fun way to interact with people from other countries, so if you are interested in it, I encourage you to give it a try.

2025年5月から6月にかけて、IVEプロジェクトでは2,000人を超える学生のうち、この賞を受賞したのはわずか20人でした。
この賞を受賞するのは名誉なことです。大変な努力をした学生に授与される賞です。本学から1名の学生が受賞したことを担当教員として誇りに思います。
「異文化コミュニケーション II」の科目では、短大生にIVEプロジェクト（オンライン国際交流）を2020年に導入し、他国の学生との交流の機会を提供しています。
教室の外で英語を使う機会ができ、英語を母国語としない学生同士で気楽にやり取りを楽しめるプロジェクトなので、普段話すことのない国の学生同士が文章でコミュニケーションをとる貴重な機会となっています。
Ms. Momoe Furukawa, a 2nd year student in the Department of Business Administration, received an Award of Excellence for the 2025 IVE Project. Among the students from Japan who participated in this project, Ms. Furukawa achieved particularly outstanding results.
During the May-June 2025 IVE Project, only 20 students received this award out of over 2,000 students. It is an honor to receive this award and it is only given to students who have made a tremendous effort. As a faculty member, I am proud that one of our students has received this award.
The IVE Project (Online International Exchange) was introduced in 2020 to help junior college students interact with students from other countries.
It gives students a chance to use English in real situations outside the classroom. Through written communication, they can enjoy meaningful exchanges with students they might not normally meet. All participants are non-native English speakers, making the project accessible to all.
