This Japanese tea ceremony experience was very interesting. We are very grateful to the IEC teachers for introducing us to it and allowing us international students to participate and interact with the tea ceremony club. During the process, we gained a deeper understanding of Japanese tea culture thanks to the detailed teaching by the club president. The club's instructor also shared a lot of additional knowledge. We enjoyed drinking matcha and eating wagashi, making it a very fun experience. Although my time studying in Japan is short, I have had many unique experiences. I am very thankful for the IEC teachers' help, which has made our life in Japan much more colorful.

I am glad to have gotten the opportunity to join in a authentic Japanese Tea Ceremony. I believe that the experience I had will stay with me for a long time, especially as a pleasant memory I have for this great University. The ceremony looks simple yet elegant and complex at the same time. There are a feel of deep tradition in every move we do from bowing until drinking. We all were blessed enough to be provided with some help from Kanazawa Seiryo Tea Ceremony Club whom are also the event's organizer. I feel that the deep tradition of the different teas, sweets even the bowls and decorations are very intriguing because of how much it differs with my own culture. The tea had a calming taste while the sweets complement the tea nicely to create a balance. There was also the act of rotating the tea cup to show the beautiful part that the host wanted to show. Given the opportunity, I would love to join another tea ceremony! Thank you Kanazawa Seiryo University for the amazing experience.

It was all interesting, I really love tea and wanted to visit a tea ceremony! I really enjoyed it. I made my own tea, now I know how to make tea, serve tea, receive tea, drink tea, etc.
